Job Title: Global Trading Manager
Job Duties:
Manage a portfolio of trading inquiries working closely withCPF teams in Thailand and other CP affiliates globally with main marketterritory being Thailand/Asia. Coordinate with internal sales with teams inThailand, United Kingdom, USA, China, South Korea and Australia. Cultivate,develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and futuresuppliers. Source and manage new vendors for multi-category commodity(including red meat, frozen shrimp, fruits, and beverages) and work globallywith CPF branches. Negotiate pricing and terms with supplier to ensurecompetitive pricing and profitability. Manage transoceanic and local logisticsby tracking shipment schedule and ensuring on-time delivery. Promote high levelof customer service to ensure smooth operations to satisfy internal andexternal partners and clients. Work collaboratively with departmental teammanagers on department-wide initiatives and management. Develop and maintainstrong, collaborative partnerships with internal CPF partners/affiliates. Isrequired to travel to trade shows domestically and internationally and to visitsuppliers/customers. Perform ad-hoc sales and marketing tasks includingpackaging and label design and revisions and marketing materials using AdobeIllustrator, Photoshop. Stay up to date with global market outlook, consumertrends and food safety regulations across multiple jurisdictions to ensurecompliance and quality control. Use SAP system regularly for whole P2Pprocess.
International travel up to 10% year to visit Canada,South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, Africa, and up to 10% domesticallyto include all U.S. states to visit suppliers and customers.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management Sciences, orrelated fields, and 2 years of experience as an international trade specialist,supply chain specialist, or related occupation.
*Specific skills andother requirements: Must possess 2 years of experience with:
- SAP
- Multi-category commodity trading including but not limited to red meat,frozen shrimp, fruits, and beverages.
- transoceanic and local logistic management
- Design of packaging, label, and marketing materials
- Food safety regulations
